New pedals

hi guys, after new pedals for my road bike, but want ones that i can alternate between SPDs and regular trainers, have seen these, and at first, thought they were the one, but the more i read about them, they seem to be more of a commuter pedal, with some of the reviews recomending them for touring or for a recumberant,

now not a serious rider my self, sometimes wear trainers, sometimes wear my SPDs, current ones are MTB shoes, and would be going for something similar again as also want ones i can walk in, as for the cycling currently doing a few miles in the week, up to 20 or 30 mile spins at the weekend, try and do one big organised ride/event each year as something to aim for (doing 1 or 2 this year), wouldn't be competing in any of these, apart from just trying to complete it, and wondering how suitable these pedals might be.

Those pedals would be fine for what you're wanting as far as I can tell. Clipped in the SPD experience would be much of a muchness i think for any dual purpose pedal.

When reading reviews you really have to be thinking about who's writing the review. Sometimes review advice about application is just snobbery
