NO Effect?

Just picked up NO shotgun earlier on today and used it before my friday night circuit instead of the synta 6 I normally use.
I found the circuit today difficult (really difficult) even though i've completed it many times before. As soon as I finished the circuit I threw up quite a bit.

There are one or 2 other things I can think of that may have caused me the problems tonight but I was wondering has anyone ever had any of these NO supplements not agree with them before or could this just be a one off?
Im slightly wary about trying it again but it's reputation makes me believe it's worth a second shot

Also I read this on a site -
The biochemical and physiological response to NO-SHOTGUN™ when combined with intense resistance training causes extra trauma to occur to trained muscle Does that mean that it makes a workout more difficult?

    Thanks

I found No XPlode (back before it got banned) to not do many favours for the stomach. I only lifted with it, but I'd imagine a more cardio based workout would have seen me blowing chunks.

Doesn't make a workout more difficult anyways.

the first few times i tried N.O explode i went scatty!! it was either lift ridiculous volume or id just end up burning the ear off some poor soal in then dressing room!

What i found it excellent for (but am in no way recommending it) was getting rid of hangovers esp, before rugby trainning if id had a hard one the night before.

Also it was probably psychological but i found my stamina for cardio related stuff went thru the roof. maybe to do with better ultilisation of O2

Having tried both I found Shotgun to be a stronger mix but it did upset my stomach, never got sick but did feel as if I was about to a number of times.

    Definitely great stuff though.

If you prefer No xplode, it's easy enough to pick up, google is your friend.

there shouldnt be undigested food in your stomach to throw up, prehaps you just ate to close to gym time , not sure though

Wouldn't say so, I'd normally have a bowel of muesli just after five, have the NO drink at about 6:45 at the earliest and hit the gym just after seven.

That's a big enough time scale I would have though. I was doing obliques (sp?) at the time so it's possible the motion had the effect?

Either way it's great stuff and I would use it again. Tastes great too, kinda cinnamon flavor.

Just tried the stuff again last night on an empty stomach, had none of the sickness and put in one of my best trainings to date, it's good stuff. It obviously doesn't mix well with food

Wow, I'd never heard of this stuff before, I've only ever taken creatine mono and whey protein. NO sounds...scientific, and a bit freaky. One of the main side effects was listed as nausea.
One thing I found with supplements was when I stopped taking them suddenly, I did notice a pretty big dip in my cardio fitness. :(
VO2 max score went through the floor.
