Have you had an excellent haircut lately?

Someone that REALLY knows how to cut and does exactly what you say?

If it was in Dublin city centre please tell who and where!

Need a haircut but don't trust hairdressers at ALL so it'd be nice if people could post up what type of cut they got and where it was :)

    Thanks in advance

For my last cut I went to Foundation on Stephen's Street. It was an expensive cut and colour yes, but it was great. I got it cut in November and because I'm a lovely poor student I haven't had it done since, but it's actually kept shape pretty well. My hair is about four inches past my shoulders and has long layers.

im a guy and got a decent cut in a barbers in Ranelagh (tiny little place...across the street from chartbusters or whatever the big video shop is called) .....nice job in tidying up my hair ...keeping the length and thinning out the bulk (if that makes sense)

For guys I'd recommend and proper barbers for a decent cut ..... watched a documentary on TV yesterday about another barbers family owned - but cant remember where is it.

I'm a man and I find you rarely get exactly what you want, even when you explain it to them. I get a cut about once every six weeks and over a year I get about three haircuts which I could say I was entirely satisfied with. Usually the problem is they get trigger happy with the scissors and take more off then you wanted.

I cannot reccommend House of Colour on the Quays highly enough. I have never had a bad cut in there. The stylist I have is one of the top girls in there and though I only see her about twice a year, she remembers who I am and what I had done the last time I was there.

I've been going there since about 2005 and I've yet to have a bad haircut and it always turns out the way I would like it.

Yes my hairdresser is Michael in Peter Mark St Stephens Green centre. He does both mine and my mums hair and not only is he a brilliant hairdresser but hes the nicest guy ever too. He's kinda famous on the social scene, he does a lot of styling for VIP shoots etc etc, he is excellent.

I've changed recently from the local barber's to (well another local one) Grafton barber's in Malahide/town. Find them much better and more thorough. A bit more expensive but it's handy that they wash your hair after too as standard. They can give you advice also and always ask if you want tea or coffee! :)

Just had a great haircut today! It was in Zeba in Maynooth and the stylist was Joanna. I have long hair and she took time and put in loads of effort and I love my cut

Well about a month ago a friend told me about a chinese place on Talbot St, cant for the life of me remember the name of it, they didnt speak much english so i brought a picture of what i wanted.

25 quid for the Best hair cut i've ever gotten!!!!!
    I look GREAT :D
    no joke ;)

When your heading down Talbot St from O'Connell St its 2mins down and on your right, ya can't miss it.

P.S when their washing your hair the sink isn't one of those horrid break your neck sinks, its attached to a reclining chair so your lying down and comfortable.
*sigh* wish i needed a new hair cut.

Trevor in Peter Mark on O'Connell St. I went in with an idea of what colour and cut I wanted and he chatted about it with me and gave me some great advice on what colours suit my skin tone etc. I'm absolutely delighted with the cut and colour I got.
Also when they're washing your hair the chair reclines and gives you a back massage at the same time. Ahhhh.

Was going to try out House of colour, then I went out shopping today and passed the style club in the pavillions. Took a chance on it and went in. A girl called Emma did my hair and it's a brilliant cut. I'd highly recommend it. Plus it's a pretty place to sit in, makes a change from the black and white tiled theme of most hairdressers

It was around the 43 mark *thinks*... (mum paid as a treat for me, hence not 100% but I'd be 90% it was that or very close to that).

They seem to have money off from sunday - friday
