Hi, I need to shift a few stone and I've tried most forms of excercise and always find the only thing I enjoy and therefore, will actually do regularly is lifting weights. I used to train years ago and enjoyed it then too.
Anyway, to the point. I'm about 5' 8" (or 5" 8', can never remember which way that goes) and of stocky build but with a mother of a beer belly. I do 15-20 mins on the bike and then hit the weights. My question is should I be doing light weight/high reps or go heavy and build muscle?
Also do any of these "Fat Burning" supplements actually work?
P.S. I'm on a low carb diet and have cut out all (most) of the crap from the diet.
    Thanks.

When you say "beer belly" was it actually caused by beer?
Have you given up said beer?
If the answer is yes and yes you should start to see results in four weeks even without excercise!

i think its safe to assume that the said "Beer Belly" is just a figure of speech.

    Really?
I have a figurative beer belly and beer played a part in obtaining it,literally.
