now is a good time to upgrade!

get a front mount intercooler and TD04 Turbo instead of stock items.
with the proper set up and aux parts, you should be looking at 200bhp!

talk to tooler over on www.dtdirl.com
although theres a good few guys over there now that know their glanzas!

One breaking here. Id ring around though see can you do any better. Owners clubs are good for this kind of stuff.

If you have budget a now is a good time for a bigger turbo with supporting bits.

There are a few starlet Gt people here who might be able to offer better advice.

No point going td04 if your not planning on forging your engine. Pointless IMO as you wont get the full benifit of the bigger turbo. If you wanna upgrade but keep stock internals get a hybrid ct9. I got one on mine it shes just over 200 bhp at the wheels. I have also have stock ct9 turbo here if you interesed. No cracks in the wastegate and minimal shaft play..

agree, i kunda threw out the TD04 turbo as an example, but would he not need to forge the engine with a ct9? especially if your running 200 wbhp?

You could but its not really needed as the stock 4efte internals are good for 225-230bhp atw. Its only if your going over that really that you'd need to forge.
