Mods feel free to move this if you feel it suits somewhere else better.

A friend is off to Bang Cafe in Dublin for a date tomorrow and doesn't want to over or under dress.

Has anyone eaten there who can tell her whether it's a jeans type place or maybe a nice frock type place??

I don't think they have a dress code but you'd feel like a total plum if you went there in jeans, unless they were REALLY smart jeans that you dressed up with a swanky top and heels...

The food is yummy yummy. I've eaten there a few times, most recently in November where I went for a late lunch with my family after my Masters graduation. I was pretty dressed up at the time as were the family and got no funny looks at all. I'd stay clear of jeans unless you're really going to dress them up.
Enjoy your food you lucky thing:)

If it's for a date, sure you might as well dress to impress!

Eaten in Bang a load of times. Yes jeans are fine. Anyone who thinks you can't wear jeans to Bang needs to get out a tad more...
