I see in the general music thread that there seem to be a good few electronic music fans on here, so decided to make this thread for discussing/posting electronic music you nocturnals like to listen to. Keep the focus on more downbeat, relaxing stuff as opposed to bangin' choons

I love this sort of bouncy sonic the hedgehog-esque music. sounds like a track from shadow the hedgehog on ps2 or from the night missions on most modern sonic games.

I love psytrance i have to say. I missed Infected Mushroom when they were hear a couple of months ago. Shame.

Ha, is he a bald guy called Chris? (I think) If so, I know him through my friend who met him on a forum (first met him at Infected Mushroom, in fact).

I was at a psytrance night in Radio City 2 weeks ago for my birthday, great fun. I'd go more often but I've exams at the moment which are restricting my going out.

I find the crowd is generally a bit older than me, which is both good and bad. The scene seems to be growing pretty quickly though, which is great.

Ooh, that was really interesting. It all fitted together surprisingly well, crazy 8-bit blippiness over hip hop with a really cool evolving dark sound. Good stuff!

I really like Infected Mushroom, wouldn't listen to any of their stuff while chillaxing though, they always make me feel far too edgy. I listen to them on my ipod if I have to be somewhere in a hurry cos I end up walking way faster.

They're the electro band that it's okay for metal heads to like, overated because most of their fans know nothing else in the genre. Like teenagers who think Disturbed are really extreme :pac:

Heh, I know what you mean about psytrance and fast walking, works great and you feel pumped by the time you get to your destination

And I think the chillaxing focus waslost by about post 8
