How to find out the test routes used in Monaghan?

    Hi everyone,

I've just been assigned a test date for Monaghan town in a two weeks time. Does anybody know where I could find out the test routes for this centre? I've done a search of previous posts here but can't seem to find it for Monaghan.

Unfortunately I take my lessons in the town where I'm at college and my regular instructor has never even been to Monaghan in his life. But as the waiting list was so long in the area where I take my lessons that I applied to do the test in my home town instead and now don't know the routes! I know it isn't essential to have driven the routes in advance but it might help calm the nerves a little. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Well Monaghan is a nice collection of one way streets and whatnot and up by the diamond could be tricky because of all the different yields. But then again you live there. If I were you i'd

    a. ask around in praticular someone who just did the test
    b. get a lesson with an approved instructor in Mongahan and he can show you the routes.

Have my test on tuesday in Monaghan so I should find out then!

Afaik, its leave the test centre heading toward monaghan electric, take right, round past the bus station, out toward by pass, across that back into town past catheral down toward lights! Take right going up the pound hill, hill start there, then reversing around a corner, then down the hill you came up, take right toward lights

From there instructor may take you out the clones rd a bit, or around killyconnigan/killygoan! 3 point turn around there also

Head back to town, few points to look out for there will the the hill up past the post office, probally once each side and then probally up past hill! Down hill oppososite hospital, loop round past the test centre and then right there and up that hill you came down left at top of that head down toward heatons, left there out north road, maybe into belgium park, do 5 point turn, and prob back to test centre!

Not sure but most of them points will be in your test, definitely do a few lessons in Monaghan, just to get use to the route and some of the tips for each particular junction or area!

    Good Luck with your test!!!!!!
