    Hi all.
I suppose Im not the first to ask this. But, as and from monday, I will be on a three day week in the job, so I'll be heading to the dole office on Monday morning. Like a lot of people, this is the first time that this has happened to me, so I have no idea what to expect. I looked at the forms online and to be honest, a lot of it is all over the place as I have no idea what Im looking at.
Now heres where my problem starts. As I said, Ill be on a three day week. But I work a whole 6 hours in a pub at the weekend.
Am I right in assuming that while "signing on" that your entitled to work one day (or two) at the weekends, as its your own time? (Not normal working hours). Or will the dole politely tell me to **** off. I pay tax in both my jobs and with the six hours work in the pub I dont even get 50 quid for it. Is it worth my while even going over on Monday.
Ill be near the office anyway because Ill be throwing C.V'S around like there going out of fashion.
Any help on this will be greatfully appreciated.
    Thanks

As far as I remember from reading on here will pay you out of 6 days, so if you work a Sunday it doesnt count.

    Drop the weekend job.

You need to apply for casual jobseekers benefit. You are allowed work 3 days and 3 days only. if you 4 (even only 6hours for 50quid) you totally lose all your dole.

If you tell them your only working 3 days and your paying tax on your other weekend job, they'll soon get the info from revenue and you'll have to pay all the money you got back to them.

So lose the weekend job and the SW will pay you for 3 days, around 100quid.
