    Hi everyone,
I'm thinking of buying a netbook or laptop for as little as possible, does anybody know of any offers going around Limerick city.

Price range would probably be from 199 - 250 euro

Your almost gauranteed a cheaper price online. Try laptopsdirect.ie or pixmania.com

Or you could try hanging around the Dell car park:D

DIXONS (now CURRYS) on William street were doing a netbook clearance sale got an acer aspire one with a 160G HDD for €230 which is IMHO a decent enough price. others with SDDs were around the €200 mark.

but possibly you'll find something cheaper online anyway.

curry's seem to be the cheapest place anyway, although 160G HDD on a 230E netbook sounds too good to be true!
on another note, keep away from the standard netbooks (the 4-8 gig ones) cuz they are ridiculously overpriced, and therefore you won't stand a chance of selling it on, either.

Dixons and PCWorld are all the same company: DSGi.

The best prices are nearly always online.
