I have toe clip and strap pedals if anyone wants them after Mr Skeffington's ones are gone. Metal pedals with just normal plastic clips/cloth straps mind, not nice leather ones like his.

10 bills for each guard or each pair? (have to ask just in case) id be very interested in those!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 922 ✭✭✭Mr. Skeffington

Thats for each pair, all my stuff is very fairly priced. They are a very nice mudguard, kept me really dry on very wet days.

    Basically like this:
    pedal_toeclip_resin.jpg
They are brand new, wrapped and unused. €15 if you can collect, Sandyford during the day or Donnybrook evening. I also have ones without the clips/strap for a tenner.

i might go for the cage and bottle from OP (Mr. Skeffington, i think?). I'm in city centre everyday during the week. Is it a plastic or alloy cage?

I'll take those pedals if steinone doesn't take them, they look great

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 922 ✭✭✭Mr. Skeffington

Dave, the bottle is a good quality Giant branded bottle, its made by Elite and the cage is a plastic covered cage, but again is good quality and also made by Elite. Elite are one of the best brands for bottles and cages so its not a cheapo cage and bottle and it is well worth €5.

Crazydingo, if Steinone does not come to collect the pedals your next in line. So I will keep you posted.

Do you still have the frame. It is 56cm? I am 183cm/6ft, what do you think? I am based in Glasnevin.

They recommend a 60cm for 183cm....would have to be a long seatpost

    I don't know about that, I'm 6' with a 32" inseam, and comfortably ride a 56cm or 58cm Paddywagon... the 56 would be fine

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 922 ✭✭✭Mr. Skeffington

The KONA Paddywagon has a sloping top tube, I am 6ft 1" so it would be fine for you. You are right if it was a traditional top tube with no slope then you would need a 60cm. Sure come and take a look at the frame, if you are interested I will throw in a few other nice parts that I have for your build.

I can help you work out your saddle height and give you a hand working out the stem length and saddle fore and aft etc if your gonna buy the frame from me.
