My little work gym has a decent setup except no squat rack.
Any idea's how i can do some decent front squats.

My power clean is a good bit behind my frnt squat so i cant just keep on cleaning the weight?

    Thanks...

Perhaps you could replace them with hack squats then, at least for a while? I don't know how else you could set up a squat without cleaning it or using something to leave the bar on.

Recent discussion here on alternatives to squats.

I mention doing belt squats at the end. I did some with 100kg tonight. towards the end I was able to help myself up with a short dip stand I made, and then do slow negatives.

You could always try and persuade your work to buy you a pair of squat stands, i.e. something like these:

They're pretty cheap although if bought from the UK factor in shipping obviously. Irishlifting.com used to do a set but don't seem to anymore.

When not in use you can just stick them in a corner so they take up no space at all really.

I have that exact set of squat stands at home . I have squatted 140 on them at home and they were fine. Quite light and easy to move as well .

What are the safety bars like on those? Can you realisticly expect to dump the bar and come safe?

Not sure I understand your question . I dump the bar off my back and jump forward if back squatting . I wouldnt be depending on the squat stands!!
