New iPod, new laptop

    Hi guys,

I've been looking around and I can't seem to find a solution t othis anywhere (or none that I can follow, I'm a bit technologicaly challenged)

I've recently got a new laptop and a new iPod nano, as the 60GB was a few years old and constantly freezing on me.

What I'd like to do is copy the music from my desktop computer onto my new iPod (which is no bother) but then I'd like to copy it onto my laptop and use iTunes from there, as I've left home and it's just not really feasible to go back and forth every time I want to make a new playlist or buy music or whatever.

Is there any way to do this? Or can someone point me towards somewhere there's a set of idiot-proof instructions, as I tried this guy: http://it.toolbox.com/blogs/ontherun/how-to-copy-music-from-your-ipod-to-your-itunes-library-5615 and got very very lost.

(I'm running Vista on the laptop if that's important?)

    THanks for any help!

If you simply want to transfer all the music on your new iPod onto your new Laptop just download either iPodDump or iPodDisk. Open the new App and you will see all your music on your iPod. Simply Drag 'n Drop. Hope this is what you require? :)

Why don't you just transfer the songs from your home PC to your laptop and then hook up your iPod?
