    Hey guys,just heard from 3 people that mackerel are in already,,anyone else heard this?..

    If you are out in a boat there are always a few, but it's not what we mean when we say "the mackerel are in".

    Think July if you also plan to include catching from shoaling mackerel hunting sprat.
    But some will be inshore from late May, and they turn up in increasing numbers from mid June onwards.
