got the phone from vodafone and its a bit buggy. contacted them about getting a firmware update as the phone comes with 11.0.008 and they said they would not be releasing a new firmware? do anyone have any contacts to see if this is the case or if its just that they dont know there arse from there elbow in customer care. v20 is out now and want to move to it as it solves a few problems. seem bad that vodafone cant provide an upgrade...

If you changed the phone 'product code' you could update to the new firmware. The product code is on the white sticker under the battery normally above your IMEI number.

ah yes but that voids the warranty. so kinda a catch 22. cant see why vodafone just dont update there firmware..

and see you can update the firmware over wifi, just type in *#0000# then go to options and click check for updates!

Its under warranty. Pop into a nokia service place and they'll upgrade it if you say its buggy. Only thing about this though is that Im pretty sure it would wipe all your vodafone live settings from the phone

Will they upgrade to the latest or the latest available in Ireland.
    Cheers.

This was the same with my omnia. Firmware available but Vodafone would not make available a new firmware to fix bugs in Ireland.
