Hey everyone, jst wondering is it too late to get into football at the grand old age of 28! Im pretty fit, in the gym all the time but have wanted to take this up for quite a while but thought it was too late. What you reckon?

No bother to you. Did it myself at 31, but in hurling. The running/match reading/awareness etc will take a bit of getting used to again but you may well appreciate it more than you did when you were younger

Go for it man what have you to lose? There will be clubs in your area you can train with and develop your game :)

Off topic, should we have a sticky with resources and details for people returning to/taking up football and hurling/camogie? I have noticed alot of threads like this lately might keep the place neat and tidy, just a thought :)
