I'm not a woman, as you may have guessed from my user name but I think you can yes.

No not in the ROI, it's prescription only here, you can get it over the counter in the North, and pharmacists charge approx. £25 for that.

You can't actually. You need to get a doctor's prescription in all cases.

Disregard my post then. My bad.

nope, available without a prescription in the north, here you need to see a doctor for the prescription and take it to the pharmacy. Cost about e14ish. Don't forget, the sooner you take it the more likely it is to work (there is a 72 hour window)

Doctor's prescription only. Doc visit €50 and the pill itself costs about 15 as I got it a while back.

Go to a Well Woman centre or a clinic and tell them that the condom split, they won't lecture you. You do need a prescription though.

I'd have been in trouble then. Do you reckon you could travel to NI to get it. I know it's a bit of a journey but if you don't want to fork out for a GP visit and a prescription it may be the better way.

You can go to any Family Planning Clinic or any other doctor (for €50 yoyos!)

Happened to me to RE: coil.... condom split....
It'll be okay, don't HAVE to tell your doc!

Not sure about Cura - aren't they affiliated to the catholic church in some way? They might not prescribe anything remotely like a contraception.

If I were you, I'd go to the GP then.

Cura is run by, or at least affiliated to the Catholic Church, so they will not.

Would you really save any money after petrol and shoe leather by going to NI rather than pay a GP?

Moonbaby, perhaps I should have stated that a prescription is required in this country. I hadn't thought that clarification necessary.
