Hey guys, just wanted to know what everyone thinks about MAC foundation? I've heard very mixed reviews? I love most of MAC's products but the foundation is too expensive to buy just to try out. Any thoughts?

Also, can anyway recommend a good moisturising cream for oily skin?
    Cheers! :)

You should go into MAC and ask for a few samples of their foundations and try them at home. Or if you prefer, just ask for a makeover at MAC!

Hi yeah go into mac in bt's or the one out in blanchardstown and tell them you want to get a foundation but want to try some first and can they recommend the best shade for your skin and when they do ask for 3 days worth of samples-you should know by then if you like it.
Dont commit to buying it though unless you are 100% its the one for you cos its dear enough at €31 for studio fix fluid.

I agree with the above get some samples first before buying a foundation or ask at the MAC counter what they recommend for your skin type/colour.
I have oily skin and have tried nearly every moisturiser from creme de la mer to simple but the best out of them all is nivea oil free moisturising fluid, its great under make up and eliminates all shine and its not expensive worth a shot:D

If you don't need a lot of coverage then don't go for Studio Fix, which they were trying to throw at me the last time I went in! It just seems to be the foundation they try to push, no idea why as they have plenty of other good ones.
