It wouldn't be since it's an EA game.

what? It doesn't have any of the Sonic & Knuckles lock-on games, like "Sonic 2 & Knuckles" or "Sonic 3 & Knuckles"

Plus this wiki article confirms they aren't included:

No Gunstar Heroes makes it decidedly less than awesome.

I haven;t lost any sleep over its exclusion. It has all the Streets of Rage games, the Phantasy star (2-5 i think) and most of the Sonic games released. It is really a great collection to have, especially if you were a Sega fan back in the day.

I guess I'll stick to my ROM collection. Would of also liked to of seen any of the games below on the list, some of the games I had for my Megadrive as a kid. Still I guess the collection only has games published by Sega so they couldn't.

    Revenge of Shinobi
    The lion king
    Disney's Aladdin
    Zombies Ate My Neighbours
    ToeJam & Earl
    Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure
    Mr. Nutz
    The Lost Vikings
    Flashback
    Earthworm Jim 2
Asterix and the Power of the Gods
    Mega Bomberman
    Mickey Mania
Bubsy in: Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind
    Primal Rage
    ClayFighter
    Micro Machines
    Micro Machines 2
    Road Rash
    Road Rash 2
    The entire Strike series

I wonder did this title sell in this age of easy to obtain ROMs, emulators and custom firmware PSPs.

That is a great list L31mr0d. I had forgotten about most of those titles.

I usually end up buying retro compilations or downloadable games for convenience. I recently got G-Darius, Einhander and a load of other shoot-em ups on the PS3 even though I have them on the PS1 already. It's just handier. However since I got the homebrew channel on the Wii I've stopped buying VC games (have no space for them anyway).

Where are you getting Japanese PSN cards from?

I can find decent sellers for US but the only Japanese ones were dodgey sellers from Hong Kong with broken english auctions.

I've been playing a lot of this compilation over the weekend and really enjoying it. There were several games that I thought I had never heard of but had actually played them years ago, i.e. Decap Attack, Bonanza Bros.

It was also fun to see how hard some of the games are, much more so than they are these days. I'm having a lot of trouble beating the last level on Dr. Robotniks Mean Bean Machine.
