How do people find the matchmaking? I keep getting placed in really unbalanced teams where victory (or defeat) is a certainty.

I keep getting matches where at least one person lags out in the first few minutes, often it makes the team who has the drop the loosing side. Since getting the game I haven't been able to play a lot but yeah, the way the match goes can often be seen early on, especially if the team that's being pushed back doesn't work together they usually just get slowly squashed.

I usually get by by just playing custom games because at least there you can discriminate against those people with 1 bar of performance and 500+ latency.

Seriously if you cant play the game smoothly dont play it online please. I really hope this feature makes its way to starcraft 2 because in C&C RA3 its just pot luck whether you get a single player that will lag the entire game or not.

Its going to be a continuing trend as 15 year old kids will continue using their families "word processors" to play increasingly demanding games.

But yeah, you can pretty much tell in the first 15 seconds if you have a team that knows what they are doing, by which capture points they go for. If they go for their proper points its upto you to hold yours.
