How do you insure a car in Ireland thats on English plates.
I was told yesterday by an insurance company that they will only cover a uk reg car for 7 days..
Is this the way with all insurance companies...?
How are people that are driving around in uk registered cars working it...?

Presume if your car has a UK reg you insure it in the UK and make sure policy has EU coverage?

I was insured for nearly 2 years here on yellow plate and there was no issue with Eagle star.
