I know this belongs in the Blues & Jazz forum, but that doesnt get as much hits as this forum, and you guys will appreciate it just as much.

Happy Birthday Rory Gallagher. 61 today!

Best guitarist of a generation IMO, and he was Irish!

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, except when it doesnt come down to opinion, and is fact, black and white, plain to see.

Fish-head, well done on being correct!

Keyzer, sorry, please try again ;):D:D

Come on! I think he WAS that good. With Taste he was doing stuff that other more famous guitarists didn't do for several years. He blew everyone out of the water at the Isle Of Wight gig. He was a great Dobro and slide player.
Man, the Stones tried to recruit him he was so good!

Keyzer, listen to Walkin On Hot Coals from Irish Tour(?), one of the greatest rock performances ever imo..

He excelled in every form of blues, electric, delta blues, country blues, folk blues, blues rock. There was nothing he couldn't do!

For a white guy, he sure had the blues.
