There is lots of different cruise lines who offer very different experiences and prices.

You can pay €500 to €5000 for a week depending on the line. Some lines are black tie most nights, some are very informal.

i've worked on both med and carribean cruises. the med is less $$ for us, cos there's not as far to fly, but a lot of the ships aren't coming over any more as they loose too much money. best bet would be to find a cheap flight to miami, that's where the home port for a lot of cruise lines are, and with the american econemy as ****ty as it is right now, you can find a 7 night cruise for about $500. a port intensive is going to give you more for your money as you'll get to see more places. all food is included on the ship, all you have to pay for is alcohol, which isn't too expensive. and it's nice to see some far away places, europe is a quick flight away whereas the carribbean is a little more exctic. check out carnival cruise lines and royal carribbean.
