Mumbai - Safe to travel alone?

    Hi,

    I'm travelling alone to Mumbai in Sep on way home from NZ/Oz. Just wondering is it safe to do so particularly after the terrorist attacks before xmas? Plannin on spending about 3 days there

    Unfortunately, I don't think anyone can really answer that for you. If you're only stopping there for three days and then heading home then I'd skip it tbh.

    Have not been to Mumbai but have been to Delhi over the past few months.

    I think you are fine, security is big in hotels, security man checking cars at entrance gates etc, the same is true in big shopping malls with metal detectors at entrances etc.

    You should be fine, enjoy it.
