so this is it my last post ever on the ssc
if the team/club don't seem to care then why
should i a mere fan.
what was an absolutely appalling display on thursday
was followed by an even bigger one today
if you can't beat utd B-team and whats worse don't
even try to what's left to support
this club is going rapidly backwards and no-one knows
how to apply the brakes
if i was a season ticket holder, and i know quite a lot
of posters here are, i'd feel very cheated

wow.does your knee jerk much?possibly the greatest load of sh1te i have ever read.you are obviously blind because we were fantastic today.the team tried their hearts out against the best club in the world atm and it took the lottery of penaltys to separate us.i suppose you want bentley strung up for delibaratey missing his penalty

Harry is a bluffer. He comes out after the game yday with his usual bull$hit about how he didnt think we'd win on pens and how boro must be at home rubbin there fingers for wed night and about how when he came in we had 2 pts.....yawn!! , i was at the uefa cup gane thurs night flew over for that tripe!!..shaktar were well there for the taking even if he had loaded up the bench for the last 20 mins.. we couldnt because harry needed to prioritise!!.well he can prioritise all he likes now!!

if he didnt think we'd win on peno's then why didnt we have a right go in ET.

We f**ked out Senor Ramos and ironically he could win la liga now for a poor poor real side.

IMO Harry needs to be shipped out in the summer and its not the morning after sore loser syndrome. Look we shouldnt go down we've got too much quality. We need to have a right clear out in the summer starting with our 50men.....Bent , Bentley & Pav ( who was a disgrace yday) and the list could go on.

hard to disagree with much of that except we have a huge turnover every summer and a consequent lack of stability.

I hope that was just a knee jerk reaction. I too was gutted yesterday, I thought we did quite well. maybe next year without europe could be a very good rebuilding year for us.

Lets hope.

Mate grow up, you're either a supporter or you're not.
That Wasent Uniteds B Team BTW, Ronaldo, Tevez, Giggs, Scholes, Ferdinand would get into any champions league team.
Penos are a lottery anyone can win, theres no shame in losing on pens.
The display was decent enough, it has to be said it wasent a classic match but our lads did ok.
Dont forget we were without Keane, Defoe, Placious, Woodgate, Cudicini all key players for us now I think.

Mate if your're giving up now then good luck, these are actually good times to be a spurs fan, at least we're involved in important games, all be it that we are fighting a relaagation battle.
I can remember when we signed Andy Booth on loan from Huddersfield now THAT was low point.

Harry will get it right give him time, we'll never be challenging for the league unless a shiek buys us but the rollercoaster is all part and parcel of being a spurs fan

As I said to Dublin Spur yesterday, there is no dishonour in falling short, only in aiming short.

Can't have any complaints about the team yesterday, only Pavlyuchenko was poor but with Keane and Defoe missing we had little option but to try with him and Bent.

I don't feel in the slightest bit cheated by what happened on the field.

And I can make the OP a permanent absentee from this board if he wants, just let me know...;)

We had a good chat about this yesterday.

I only get browned off when I see less then 100% commitment from our players. When this happens I feel cheated and angry, and these have been the over-riding feelings I have had from the majority of Spurs games I've been to over the past few seasons. There's something perverse about spending time and money on something that makes you unhappy more often then not. So this year I decided go less, enjoy the social side, and try not to take the games so personally. This new approach seems to be doing the trick for me.

I had a very positive and memorable day yesterday. Met loads of fellow Spurs people, had a good drink and a good laugh, our support was tremendous again, our players where fully committed and put on a performance that made me proud. It's been a while since I have said that. We lost on pennos to the best club side in the world and there's asolutely no shame in that. To suggest otherwise is completely delussional.

Looking forward to Chelsea in a few weeks. And I hope for this same kind of commitmient from our players. If we get it, we will have a good chance of beating them, and that would be fantastic.

I really thought defensively we weren't that stretched at any time and i loved córlukas little handball to knock the ball out for a goalkick we even had our fair share of chances don't think anyone can really be disapointed with the performance the result sure real fans are always dissapointed when there team lose but the manner we lost in is what counts.

We didn't give a yard not an inch thats what matters and hey it'd be boring if we where winning all the time i dont mind winning the league once and then not winning it again for another year or two:D.

was proud to be a spurs fan yesterday. decent performance from most players. honoury mention to gomez who, despite constant stick( alot from me!) didnt put a foot wrong. lennon was great. never seen anyone take on evra so succesfully, modric was good, dawson n king quality, corluka did all he had to do as did BAE, jenas full of running as was zokora. pav was below par n bent didnt get all that many chances. subs did the job as well. prob except bentley who is supposed to be the best dead ball specialist in england!!.

great day out and throughly enjoyable. i was just disgusted that i was in the utd end and we were given a poxy man utd bag while all the spurs fans got flags. i was trying to get one off people on the train to no avail. any one got a spare flag they want me to have???
