Difficulty meeting decent women ????

hey im 28 tall decent looking so im told and always chatty about anything

anyway im single 4 years as was in a bad relationship for 7.5 years which im totally over etc

its just my circle of friends dont go to any other pub but our local ( not blaming them etc ) but they stand in the worst place in the pub and its just 10 single lads and none ever seem to meet women ( again their own choice etc )

but when i even stand in a diff place in the pub i seem to meet women no probs , but all either have kids or not over their ex's or just after casual etc

trouble is my friends wont budge from their crap place and i dont wanna look like a loner on my own in the pub

so needless to say i find it hard to meet women when around them

im not slagging them at all as its their choice to do what they do

i honestly have a pain in my rear going to the pub to stand in that area and waste my night , but i dont have many friends , grew away from some a few years ago and these arent really friends , just drinking friends as u never seem them mon-fri at all and usually just get a text on a sat to say their heading down the pub etc

id like to meet a nice woman with a view to starting something serious

how do i do that on my own ??????

anybody in same boat ???

BTW I KNOW I SOUND LIKE A SAP ID SAY , IT SJUST I SEE MYSELF WELL INTO MY 30'S BEING SINGLE IF I STAY AROUND THESE LADS

see id consider myself mature and know what i want and lots on them sites look for brad pitt and a six pack and 100K a year job

other than online dating , is there any other way ??

Errr... no, they don't.

You just have to be patient, there are just as many gobshítes in bars as there are online.

Be yourself and all that and they will come.... eventually. You'll probably meet someone at the most unexpected time.

The gym is a good place to meet the ladies apparently - or so I've heard!! :rolleyes: Take up a new hobby or night course where you're likely to meet ladies of a similar age. Bingo.

Acoustic - I know where you're coming from. I am a girl in the same situation. I love my mates to bits but they have a slight obsession with a particular pub in Dublin where there is not a chance of meeting anyone, or anyone worthwhile. I try to limit my visits to this pub now because I can't be bothered wasting the night when I know I will get groped, have drink spilled on me, get chatted up by some idiot who is off his face and not see one person I like. But like you I can't really head off like a loner to a better pub. Also like you I can see myself getting older and not finding someone, depressing !!!

On two occasions I have met someone on a night with these girls and both times I have been dragged off for some reason or another. Dunno if i can give advice but it's a pain in the a$$ when your friends seem to be ruining your chances of meeting someone! I'm knocking nights out on the head for a bit and joining a gym with the money I save - hey can't be any worse for meeting people

Its rare to find decent girlfriend material in the pub or club, you need to take part in new activities and classes etc. You need to expand your network of friends/ assosiates.
