Lebanon to Syria by bus/car.

Hi everybody, Just wondering about the border crossing between Lebanon and Syria. Has anybody done this before. Was there much hassle at the border. We are planning to go in september after Ireland play Cyprus in Nicosia. We wil do 4 or 5 days in Leb and the same in Syria. Any suggestions would be welcome including things…

I have done a bit of travelling in the middle east but not these countries. Thanks.
