I don't do that, but your list will probably prompt me to start! I sometimes like to think I'll be like House (a genius, not an Ass) if I ever in up in Medicine, but in reality I'd probably be more like 13.

2scoops: Edgar from "24". I know it's not a medical drama, and I know poor Edgar isn't much to look at. But He's a smart cookie, which is why he reminds me of 2scoops. Sorry, man :P

I did think of you, and I have a mental pic of you. But I can't think of a female TV psych. I often picture one of my undergrad tutors who was a psychotherapist when I see your posts.

But she doesn't have a wikipedia page :P

2scoops has rightly pointed out that full-name typo, btw. Jack...Edgar....it's hard to avoid mixing them up :D

Dude, karl Kennedy is a legend!!!

I haven't watched neighbours in a long time, but I remember the following:

    1) In middle age he was knocking some really hot burd, and his wife still took him back afterwards.

    2) He's saved more asses with emergency roadside procedures than the entire HEMS crew combined in the last 10 years.

He even has facebook groups devoted to him.

    Embrace the comparison, man :P

Actually, the could be quite accurate. I do laugh a lot in work. I reckon he's a better physician than me though :P I've seen him take out tonsils, do heart surgery and treat radiation poisoning.

He's up there with Karl Kennedy!

Any takers for Dr. Nick (Simpsons), Dr. Romano (ER) or Dr. House even? :p

FWIW one TV doctor i've always found interesting is Archie Morris on ER.
Loved the character progression from total waster to half-decent, responsible physician.
Always liked Morganstern (William H. Macy) as well.
    So eccentric.
