I was looking at this new Dell monitor on the Dell.ie website. It is priced at €370.70. This price includes 10% discount and free shipping. Thinking this is pretty steep, I looked at the same monitor on the Dell UK website. The price there is £237.02 which converts to €266.89. So the monitor is over €100 cheaper in the UK. What a rip-off.

In Germany it is €363.07

In Spain it is €353.92

In Finland it is €339.00

It's now gone to € 411.89 on Dell.ie

Have e-mailed Overclockers.uk to see if they deliver here and at what cost. Price there before delivery is £204.69 = €230 approx.

I have ordered that monitor from Overclockers UK. The price including VAT and delivery is £230.17 = €256.07. I will let you know how it goes with delivery etc.

Well here I am sitting in front of my new monitor, and it's a beauty. Total price including VAT and delivery - €261.15. Dell price again €411. Ordered on 2 March, delivered from UK on 5 March. How's that for service.

I'm tempted to upgrade to the 2209WA, but I'm wondering has anyone heard if Dell plan to bring a 24" model out using the same tech anytime soon?

Delivery is either £13.90 or £16.50, depending on which carrier you choose with OcUK.
