By the way,in case anyone didn't know, this is the last episode before the three part finale, which is split over two weeks. So,there's only three more weeks of BSG left.

so is the last episode 2 hours long then? i.e an episode next week,an episode after that and a 2 hours finale?

The finale is three hours long,it's just split over two weeks. It'll be like this:

6th March : Islanded in a Stream of Stars
    13th March : Daybreak(Part 1)
    20th March : Daybreak(Part 2) and Daybreak(Part 3)

An 86min finale essentially then on the morn of Sat, Mar 21st.

    Awesome.

In the trailer above it says "Only 3 more episodes and you will know the truth".

If the trailer is also taking into account the next episode, does that mean we will know "the truth" before thee final episode (as there is 4 more to come)?

They're probably counting the finale as one long episode, meaning three including next week's.

    129 minutes for me.

I'm not going to watch daybreak(part 1) until the 21st,so I can watch the entire finale all at once.

Frak, what the hell am I going to do when this show ends?
Aside from the feature length special coming later, and I don't think Caprica is going to be quite the same.

    Gods damn it!

You're right about there being three weeks left including next week's. Technically there are only two episodes left (next weeks and the three hour finale). However Sci-fi are airing part one of the finale a week before the other two parts for some reason. So there are:

    -Two episodes left
    -Four hours left
    -Three weeks left

Hope that clears things up with everybody.

What do you suppose 'Islanded in a Stream of Stars' refers to?

The Galactica dead in space? Or maybe its some literary reference im not familiar with? Anyone?

From battlestarwiki.org: Islanded in a Stream of Stars

The title comes from the book The Outermost House, by Henry Beston, where he chronicles his time spent living on an isolated beach in Cape Cod. In the chapter "Night on the Great Beach" he wrote, "For a moment of night we have a glimpse of ourselves and of our world islanded in its stream of stars— pilgrims of mortality, voyaging between horizons across eternal seas of space and time."

The whole possible abandonment of Galactica sounds like a fantastic premise to be able to envoke all that's happened and how far they've came, essentially because of Galactica.

    Can't wait.
