    its why im asking . i love southern hemisphere style bars. is there a good atmosphere there?

    Very noisy if you want to chat to someone, they do have the volume too high at times, hate pubs like that. Good food though as well as decent pints.

    The Woolshed is brilliant, especially on a Thursdays. They have pitchers of Fosters for a tenner, pitchers of cocktails for €15.00 (for the wimmen) and pitchers of JD and coke for €20.00 (yeah you read that right).

    reasonably priced pub
    plenty of room, good view for sports
    crowd can be a little discomfiting
    staff are very friendly
    pretty alright, though I wouldn't make it a regular myself

    and when did it change it's name? I've been there a few times recently, still calling it the Outback, even though I know it's the Wool Shed...
