Seen Gran Torino the last day and I thought it was one of the best films ive seen in years. Just wondering is it next year that this will be up for an oscar because I dont think it was nominatated for anything this year was it? Brilliant film. People in the cinema started clapping at the end something ive never seen happen in a cinema!

Don't get me started, one of the best films to come out in recent years. Eastwood is fantastic. Some of the asian actors were dodgy but they didn't act before so... Still, bloody great film. A grumpy old man reluctantly finding himself involved in this new world, spoilt middle class sons who begat spoilt middle class kids. Brilliant.

I saw it last night actually. Great film.. Really enjoyed it all the way through, which is rare. Clint's character was brilliant.

lol, your loss. He used it a few times, once with the black guys, mainly to freak them out. Then to the asians, cos he was taking the piss. You should give things a chance than just judge them on the spot. He had lots of guns.

One of my favourite lines in film of all time: "I think your an over-educated 27 year old virgin, who likes to hold the hands of superstitious old ladies and promise them eternal salvation" :P
