Aright lads, it's "that guy with the blue Ibanez" again..!

So the story goes I was thinkin of selling my beloved Mesa/Boogie Dual Recto head. Now the thing of it is I can't for the life of me find anywhere or anyone selling one to get a price comparison so I'm wondering how much it's worth..!

It's the older model Dual Recto head with 2 channels (they don't have them on the Boogie site anymore). The clean channel can be switched to a modern high gain setting. I just leave it on clean and use the standard vintage setting. Nice raw rock tones and all that.

I can try and get a few pics up if that would help but I'm sure somebody out there knows what I'm talkin about.

    Thanks once again guys!

Does anyone think I'd be insane to let this go in order to pick up a Triaxis pre and a 50/50 power amp or something to that effect?

A Triaxis is a different sound (it's based on the Mark-series) to a Rectifier, so you wouldn't be mad to switch, provided it was the different tone you were going for. And of course, it has all the midi stuff going for it.

It's worth whatever someone will pay for it. Probably €1200-1400 depending on condition and age. Although if the SN is under #500 it'll fetch a bundle on ebay.

Nope. Triaxis covers alot of Mesa amps from past to present. Most of the best ones are in there somewhere. Triaxis are €2500 on Thomann new though and the power amps are expensive too.

Perfect power amp match is the 2:90 Mesa amp. About €2000 of amp.

Sweet, cheers for the info lads. I'll check out that serial number and take it from there.

They go quite cheap sometimes from forums like jemsite and the like. So I'll have a wee lookie.
