Fresh off a solid 3.40 for the 1500m down in Melbourne it raises the question as to whether his winter season in australia every peaks him at the right time of the year or whether be might be more beneficial to stay in europe and mae an attempt at the european indoors..... Anyone have and comments on this?

I suppose he got injured last year after a great 'winter' in Australia. Who's to know whether it was being at a peak in Jan/Feb that led to the injury or whether had he not got injured he'd have got faster again in the European summer?

I bet he hadn't peaked before getting injured. He has a great coach and training partners including Mottram, and he runs fast times during the summers. Fair play to him anyway I'm glad to see him back racing

good running...maybe he should've done euro indoors...with times like that he'd have been in the shake up for a medal
