I love the comment that Brian O'Driscoll made in a news conference today to the effect that:
'Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit; wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad

Does anyone know any more similar aphorisms? Please keep them to the format of:
Knowledge is xxxxxxxxxxxx: wisdom is yyyyyyyyyyyyy.

I'll try to come up with some too.

In order to reach perfectron, one must be trialed to brutal imperfection.

keep going as if you pulled back, as one day you will reach completion.

Perfection is acutally pure completion of distance, space and time all coming to a halt ;) You completed the uiniverse.
