There are six helicopters flying in formation around casement at the moment,
Definitely not Irish, The Garda Helicopter is in hot pursuit.

Does anyone know what they are?
I'll try and get a picture

Spotted them over Rathcoole about an hour ago - looked like 3 of the armies AW139's followed by the boys in blue

Maybe they are dropping all the Fianna Fail heads into Citywest Hotel for the big party they are having there this weekend!

Saw the fianna fail lads arrive on horseback earlier . . . bunch of cowboys - They could be looking for the 7 million swipped from BOI last night - it all kicked of around that area

They've just been over Tallaght. Thought they were heading back to Baldonnel.

Looked like they were Army Green.

Saw something similar over my area about a week ago. 3 AW139s flew over my house in formation and then started circling overhead. Then one of the Garda EC135s flew through the middle of the circle they'd formed and joined the AW139s in circling overhead before they all broke off and headed Southeast. Was a bit strange to watch...

Practising for the army/Garda coup, due any day now. Don't tell anyone. :p

It's probably nothing more than practice formation flying or a photo opportunity. Possibly even an airshow practice display. Nice job if you can get it.

It was more than likely just part of a cash escort.

A cash escort over Baldonnel:D That's a good one. It's formation flying, that's what the military do, practice formation flying over their base and in the vicinity. It's called training!

All six Air Corps AW-139s were in formation @ Baldonnel on Friday afternoon (27/02). Callsign was "Wolf Section", some pictures will be up on Worldairpics soon enough i hope.

I saw it on Friday and there appeared to be another one flying a distance off the ones flying in formation so I'd guess it was taking pictures.
