Autocad 2006

Hi, I amcurrently using Autocad 2006 and when I try to open a drawing or insert a block the menu folder is set up with the "icons" view. I would prefer it if these folders had the "details " view but every time I change the view it automatically goes back to the "icons" view the next time I open it. Can this be changed?
