Is it possible to do a straight swap from PAYG to contract BB with three? Or do you have to buy a new modem etc and start from scratch like a new customer?

Three being the customer haters they are used to make you get a new number etc. to move from PAYG to pay monthly. They may have changed this excellet () policy recently but they don't really like helping out customers. I know you mean broadband but nothing 3 does surprises me.

You have been able to move your number from 3pay to bill pay or vice versa for the last 18 months. OP you will have to sign up to the 18 month contract if you want to move from 3pay broadband to bill pay as the modem is free. Just stick the bill modem into your current modem.

cheers, the three website is having problems today. Plus the 18month contract option is now out of stock!

Try your local 3 store, carphone warehouse or 3g.
