    Hello,

This is not for sale it's for FREE!!! That's why it's here instead of adverts.

As some of you lot are getting into MTB'ing this may be of interest.

    2004 Kona Dawg FS Frame
    18 inch
    Black and Silver
    Fox Shock
BETD Plates - 5.5 inches of travel - will include original plates which will revert bike to 4 inches of travel.

Will leave on it Front Deore Shifter and Crane Creek S2 headset.

Hasn't been ridden in 3 years due to baby and reverting back to hardtails. Would make a nice starter full sus for very cheap, nice sturdy bike. Seems a shame to leave it hanging there when someone here might make some use of it.

P.M me if you'd like it.

    dc

just said I'd come back to this thread to keep up to date with the build (thanks again dcRoadie)

Got the frame, cleaned it up and have a starting point of this with the intention of putting it back to new (on with original rocker arms etc)

I've a few bits left over from upgrading my hardtail so I've bars, stem and seatpost from that and the wheels which I built which helped getting going but then, then the ordering started....poor credit card got a bit of a thump...

Headset, fork, seat post shim, bearings & bushing kit, bb, derailleur hanger, brake-lever-shifter-things all got put on

They're not all on or in yet, but I'm now at the rolling chassis stage and it's starting to take shape - will be a hadsome rig yet:D

There's a bit of shopping left to do yet (and yes, I know assembly) but I'll post pics as it develops.

Just touching base with this thread again. Very nearly there on the build, much to CRC's happiness :D

Deore Chainset, XT f &r mechs, Hone dualfunction shifter/hydros in & fitted along with a 11-34 cassette and some continental rubber thrown on the wheels.

All thats left to do is sort out a new headset, fit some pedals, hop in new bearings & shock bushes to the original rocker arms and see what this thing can do!
