    Hi,

I've been reading up on the Fas website and I'd like to become an apprentice in vehicle body repair.

Ive rang Fas and they just said go out and find an employer to take you on but i have a feeling this is much easier said than done even if there are extra grants for employers who take on a female apprentice.

Any advice at all? Hints or tips to help me convince someone to take me on?

I think the best advice is just knock on doors. Go see people face to face. Its the only way to do it. Its going to be tough, and the best of luck.
