Numb Foot -- Long Rides

I keep getting a numb left foot on long rides of about 4/5 hours. Anyone else? I can't realy wiggle my foot in my shoe. The carbon sole makes it impossible to move. I usually just put up with it but I am worried it might not last my next trip

    Just bring a spare

I used to get a numb hand. But i think i've isolated the problem to a particular top. I guess it's squeezing a bit too much under my upper arm.
    Maybe try wearing different shorts.

I've suffered a lot with my feet. Long rides and they can go numb and then start to really hurt.

What helped for me was well fitted shoes, gel insoles and making sure to adjust my straps at times. I got it particularly in the summer, so I figured that my feet were swelling with the heat. Loosening the straps midway through the ride, once the numbness started really helped. I won't say I'm immune to it now, but I definitely suffer a lot less.

    What shoes are you using?

Yes, got that problem too with my Sidi's. I got me a pair of Nike Ventoux II on eBay from a seller emptying his sold stock ... which are wider and so far so good.

Shimano r220 -- I might custom mold the insoles and see if that make a difference

I have Shimano shoes too and get the same problem.. apparantly its because they are quite narrow. I just leave the straps a littler looser and its okay.. not ideal tho'
