    From another thread

John is Ireland's only Brazilian Jiu-jitsu blackbelt and is a full time coach at his well known SBG gym in Dublin. This is a good chance to get to train with John and increase your grappling knowledge in a friendly relaxed atmosphere.
This seminar is open to all and is suitable for everyone from beginners to advanced.

    Hope this helps

You obviously dont have a clue about BJJ, you only get belts in it for merit. In my karate club there are several blackbelts that are overweight, lazy and basically handed their belts. I am only a brown belt and I can destroy them with ease. BJJ is only in Ireland 10 years, that is how long it takes to get a BJJ blackbelt, provided you win enough tournaments.

As for BJJ champions Josie Murray is a BJJ world champion. I believe John Kavanagh is a European champ and world submission wrestling champ but I might be wrong and am open to correction.

Andy ryan is a recent european champ too and a few of his team won medals in the most recent european championships too..

BJJ is ever improving over here..

Also i think the private lessons are for outsiders mainly anyway and not members of the club, i could be wrong.

If you think it's overpriced then don't pay it, simple really.

If I were you, I'd put any available cash towards spelling and grammar lessons.

    Thread Locked.

Redbelt - cut the crap. SBG reserve the right to charge what they want for classes, just as a customer reserves the right to pay those prices. Stop stirring sh!t.
