Yes, got more land which worked out quite well. Worth playing, greens are a bit hard to hold after a spell of dry weather in the summer but should be fine this time of year

Really nice course. Played it last year for the 1st time. Seemed like there was 2 newish looking holes(10 and 11 I think). The greens were very tricky and lightning quick even after a lot of rain. Try not to leave yourself a down-hiller on 17(I ended up putting off the green :o).

Edmondstown is a cracking course. 4th-6th are three great holes, and the 17th & 18th are great finishing holes. The greens are superb.
10th and 11th are the new holes caused by the M50 changes, and the redesigned the stretch from 14 to 16.

The only problem I have with the course is that if you play it midweek during the winter you may be faced with winter greens; and I mean 18 circles mown in the fairways. You should be OK at weekends, but I would phone ahead midweek.

Have played Edmonstown on anf off for 20 yrs. Mostly invites and charity days. I think the new holes are terrible. I has lost a lot of character since the re modelling.
