Want to to get as near as possible to Croker on Saturday anyone know any good spots that won't cost an arm and a leg?

You could drive up to the back streets (residential) around drumcondra...not sure if you have to pay on the meter or not, but you'd want to get there early enough to get your spot anyway!

Other than that you could plonk it in any of the car parks in town, such as the ILAC shopping centre just off Parnell Square...might cost you around a tenner, but then you'd have about 20 - 30 minute walk to stadium!

I wouldve said €20, that carpark is a ripoff. If you park on street near the stadium dont forget that the 'local entrepreneurs' will want a few shillings to ensure the safety of your vehicle. The Western Way usually is handy for a spot but its still about 20 mins from the stadium.

Any residential streets in the area will be blocked off by the gardai. Getting public transport in easier, depends what direction of the country your coming from!

Whenever i head for croker i park out by the red cow roundabout, the big car park for the luas, and then take the luas into town. I come from the limerick direction tho, dunno about other routes in.

I park in Glasnevin and walk down normally, probably a 20 minute walk but it's handy since the traffic isn't bad at all in that area when you're leaving.

Fairview? But you'd want to be very early.

for the france match i parked up one of the side streets in drumcondra, it would be blocked off by gardai because ut is outside the cordon, it was a free space too, about 15 minutes max walk to the ground. just arrive early to get them!

    Park in Blackrock.

you will find loads of spaces and the 45,4A,7 or dart will bring you into town.

if you go up to the five lamps then take the right immediately after the bridge (the back way to clontarf) you will usually find parking the 3rd street onwards (isn't disk parking). bout 10 minute walk to stadium , despite appearances it is a quite resi area down there
