After seeing a neo noir film recently, I've got the urge to try out some low-key shots.
I've never done this sort of thing before, and I have no idea how to go it to get best results.
    Aperature, F#, Shutter etc
    Lighting conditions.

If anyone has any tips, or pictures to share. It would be a big help.
(note:i'm very much amatuer so don't have access to a studio to go low key the pro way)

A torch and reflector are the easiest ways to a cheap set up, shooting open in the aperture range, and highish ISO to get a bit of grain going. Just use whatever shutter keeps it all still for you!
