VCP Exam Preparation Workshop

    I'm planning on sitting the VCP very soon and was thinking of doing the prep workshop.

    The course details on VMWare' site stage that you get a free exam voucher after completing the workshop but can anybody confirm if any places in Dublin are honouring this.


    Pricing and Scope

    Contact your VMware representative or VMware Authorized Training Center for pricing information.

    The workshop duration is one (1) day.

    A VCP Test Voucher is included in the workshop fee.

    I was told you had to do the full course for 2k (euro) and then the exam after.

    You have to have the full 4-5 day course from an authorised VMware trainer, otherwise even if you pass the exam they will not ceritfy you.

    Its not hard though, the material is not easy but its not hard to learn if you've some experience of using the software already.

    You can sit the exam but won't get the VCP accreditation unless you spend a couple of thousand on one of two officially approved training courses. Make sure you check on the VMWare website that both, the course and training provider, are listed there. Otherwise you might wast your time and money on a scamster.
