Hey folks, I'm just writing an essay for college at the moment, and I'm trying to think of a word that is eluding me!!!! :mad: The context is: Whilst having the legislature undermine the war effort was hugely disconcerting to the administrations, the more disruptive and *BLANK* source of opposition was from the troops…

Hey folks,

I'm just writing an essay for college at the moment, and I'm trying to think of a word that is eluding me!!!! :mad:

The context is:

Whilst having the legislature undermine the war effort was hugely disconcerting to the administrations, the more disruptive and *BLANK* source of opposition was from the troops themselves.

The word I'm thinking of is kind of like "sneaky" / surreptitious, but also dangerous.

GAH I HATE THIS!!!!!!!!!

Someone suggest words! I've been looking at a thesaurus for ages !
