Going to a friends house on friday for a few quiet drinks.

    Drink is provided.

    Someone is bringing dessert.

    We're ordering food.

    What else can I bring?

Another bottle of plonk is never refused in the Billy household whether drink is being provided or not.

Alternatively, there's the traditional flowers or chocolates.

A small selection o cheese maybe? Just taster size bites for after the food. Or a bowl of olives?

    Edible body paint?

Definately bring more booze and a couple of packs of those "posh" crisps or maybe a bottle of fizzy to start the evening off.

Yup- more wine and a huge bag of Chili Heatwave Doritos and dip. Nom, nom, nom.

    +1

Cheeses are great nibbles with wine (if that is what ye are having) and don't fill you too much. A small selection will go down a treat with everybody and it'll be something different to arrive with.

Try to pick up a Gruyere, Strong Cheddar, Goats & maybe a Blue Cheese. You can pick up reasonable cost varieties of these cheeses in Dunnes/Tesco.

P.s. don't forget the cheese crackers
