i assume with the title that 43 people have to show up for the it to be gar, so u might as well gar 1 million, if 35,714 people show up

also 7 buck reg is pretty high seeing as there's only a dealer for the final table, €5 is the normal reg amount for a game of this size!

25% reg for a self-deal tournament is a bit steep no?
    Mr.Wolf 29-01-2009
If €35 is 100% therefore €7 is 20% not 25% but I prefer fractions myself (even though 8 sevenths of people don't understand them) Look seriously pete, the guy is providing a professionally run poker tournament with professional equipment and with 30 players last week a prize-pool of €900 was generated.
He is selling all that to you for €7 (how much would you be willing to pay for a nights entertainment? Is €7 to much for 4 to 5 hours of fun with a big prize at the end of it?)
I haven't yet played any of Nicks games but hear they are brilliantly run.
Percentages are misleading, would you rather spend €95 + €10 reg for a 10 man tournament? Spend 3 times as much to win the same prize money?
Check out the game and make your judgements afterwards...

    Hi,

Yes, I agree as a % it is a high reg fee. But as Mr Wolf said....As a fee for playing a proffesionally run tournament with good quality equipment it is a very small fee. You cant go to the cinema no for €7. Based on 33 players last week the total reg fees was €231. This is a very small total income to provide a tournament with.

Did you feel like playing it and the €7 reg fee was putting you off or did you just feel like making the comment??

    Hey James,

    Yes it's picking up.

The week before last week had 36 runners and on that night I announced the €1,200 Guarantee for last thurs of the month.

Last week we had 42 runners so Im not really expecting any problem meeting the guarantee this week. Pitty you cant make it but hopefully see you soon.

    Hi,
No, maybe the title is missleading.........The guarantee will be paid out even if less than 43 players show up. If more than 43 show up then all the additional €28's will be paid out.
