Just wondering does anybody know, can i change the settings on this camera to take and save numerous continuous shots with the fujifilm finepix s6500? at the min there is a setting that it will take numerous shots but only save the first three or last three. There is also another setting that allows to save numerous shots but its very very slow.

    Hey Benny,

Yeah I found this myself last week when I was out trying some surf photography for the first time.

3-shot burst: 2.2 fps (either first 3 or last 3)
    Continuous: 0.7 fps

When shooting continuous it refocuses between shots - have you tried focusing manually? That might make it a bit quicker. Or lower resolution depending on what you're using the shots for. Love the camera but the continuous is weak.

I found the auto-bracketing function worked best for me after a while - didn't notice much difference between levels in the 3 shots but I must check out the metadata at home later on.

Well when I was shooting the surfing I just had auto-bracketing set, locked on auto-focus when they were about to get a wave, then got good clear 3-shot selection, shooting at 1/1200th sec, iso100.

The three images took far too long to save for my liking, it leaves you functionless for a few seconds; so choose your shot burst wisely! ;)
